Incredibly easy minute tea biscuits!
No one will guess how quick and delicious these are! Perfect for tea time!
Ingredients (about 23 biscuits – ~350g):
- 1 medium egg
- 50g of sugar
- 50g of butter
- 40 g of honey (1 tablespoon)
- ~220g of flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder (4g)
- A pinch of salt
- Walnuts
- Optional fillings: dried apricots, prunes, raisins, or chocolate
Instructions:
- Beat the egg and sugar together until creamy.
- Melt the butter, add the honey and mix well.
- Combine the egg and sugar mixture with the butter and honey mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and knead the dough.
- Add the walnuts (and optional fillings if desired) to the dough.
- Form small biscuit balls and place them on a baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes.
