2 apples (large, crumbly)
for the dough
300g flour or puff pastry
1 pinch of salt
300ml yogurt
2 eggs

Preparation

  1. First, for quick baked apple rings, place the flour in a bowl, add the salt, yogurt, and egg, and mix well until a thick dough forms.

  2. Next, peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into rings about 1 cm thick. Drizzle lightly with lemon juice.

  3. Now heat the fat in a pan. Then dip the apple rings in the batter and fry them in the hot fat.
    Turn them frequently; once they’re golden brown, remove them from the pan and drain on paper towels.

  4. Finally, while it’s still hot, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
