Pan-fried focaccia with hot milk: delicious and quick
The recipe below is for some delicious, sweet, buttery, and super-soft focaccia.
The great thing is that they’re pan-fried: either way, they’ll be a feast for our taste buds. While you do need to follow the recipe carefully, you’ll find it’s not too difficult to make.
Let’s see exactly how.
Pan-fried focaccia with hot milk. The ingredients
The ingredients for the dough are:
840 g of flour
90 ml of vegetable oil
8 g of salt
400 ml of warm water
40 g of sugar
200 ml of warm milk
10 grams of dry yeast
For the filling:
200 g of butter
The preparation
In a large bowl, combine the warm water, hot milk, vegetable oil, sugar, and yeast. Mix vigorously with a hand whisk until the yeast is fully incorporated.

Next, add the flour and salt and continue mixing with a spatula. Use your hands instead of the spatula when you’ve obtained a malleable dough, from which you’ll then form the classic smooth, soft, and elastic dough.
Now let the dough rest, covered with plastic wrap, for at least 45 minutes. This will allow the dough to rise. Then, turn it out onto a floured work surface and divide it into 18 equal portions.
At this point we work each of these pieces of dough, giving it a more or less ball shape.
We place a knob of butter on each of these spheres. After 5 minutes, we spread them out along with the butter. We now stack these mini pizzas one on top of the other, forming six piles of three mini pizzas each.
Let it sit for another 5 minutes and then flatten the resulting mixture a little, still using your hands. We’ll need to manipulate these small masses until we obtain six spheres.
We now crush these spheres with our hands and then put them to cook in a pan, one at a time, over medium heat, for five minutes.
We brown them on both sides and then bring them to the table.
