Passion fruit can also be a perfect ingredient for a delicious dessert. This tropical fruit, for example, can be used to make a soft and moist bundt cake: find the recipe below.

The ingredients
250g flour
100ml passion fruit juice
160g sugar
100ml water
150g cooking oil
14g baking powder
three eggs
The preparation
Pour the eggs, sugar, oil, water, and passion fruit juice into a blender and blend for two minutes.
Now transfer the result of these two minutes of work to a large bowl. Then add the sugar and mix with a hand whisk. When everything seems smooth, add the baking powder.
Now, take a bundt cake pan and grease it well with butter. Pour the prepared batter into it and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes.
Now we can also prepare the syrup, but if we want to do it faster we can also buy it ready-made, but without added sugar.
If we want to prepare it, we need:
- 80 g of sugar
- 100 ml of passion fruit juice
- 200 ml of water
Place a small saucepan on the stove and pour in the water. Add the passion fruit juice and sugar, stirring with a spatula until the mixture reaches a boil.
Now we take the donut out of the oven and prick its surface with a toothpick, after which we pour the hot syrup over it.
Let the syrup absorb into the batter for about twenty minutes. Then, transfer the cake to a flat plate and serve.
