☕ Vaseline & Coffee Skin Scrub (DIY)

🧴 Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
  • 1 tablespoon finely ground coffee (not coarse)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey (extra moisture + soothing effect)

🪄 Instructions

  1. In a clean bowl, mix Vaseline and ground coffee until evenly combined.
  2. Add honey if using, and stir until smooth.
  3. Apply a small amount to damp skin (face or body).
  4. Massage gently in circular motions for 1–2 minutes only.
  5. Leave on for up to 3–5 minutes if you want extra softness.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently pat dry.

⚠️ Important Tips (Don’t skip these)

  • Patch test first (inner arm is best), especially if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.
  • This is better for body use than face, because Vaseline is very occlusive and can clog pores for some people.
  • Don’t scrub aggressively—coffee is already abrasive.
  • Use 1–2 times per week max.
  • Always cleanse skin after, since Vaseline can leave a residue.

💡 What it actually does

  • Coffee: gently exfoliates and temporarily improves skin smoothness
  • Vaseline: locks in moisture and prevents dryness
  • Honey (optional): adds mild hydration and soothing properties
